The program pairs Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber with CodeMender to find software flaws and validate patches. Google says more than 650 partners are participating.
Why it matters now
Selected defenders get access to Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber inside their cloud environments. Fairwind is not open to every customer. Participants must limit use to internal cybersecurity, incident response, or penetration testing teams. They must also use safeguards such as multi-factor authentication. Any Google Cloud customer can use CodeMender with public models, but Google has not independently validated its speed or cost claims.
