What happened
OpenAI retired its official DALL·E GPT on August 30. The public GPT directory no longer lists DALL·E. OpenAI points users to ChatGPT Images instead. User-created GPTs with image generation still work.
Why it matters now
People who used the dedicated GPT now need to use ChatGPT Images instead. OpenAI told users to download images before retirement, but its notice does not say what happens to images they did not download.
